How to get your study credit for Introduction to API Economy

Students with a Finnish social security number:

  1. Enroll to the course here. You get instant access to the course materials and can start completing the course.
  2. Once you have completed each section, you can get the certificate for the course. Simply go to https://www.osaango.academy/account/certificates -> choose certificate and click “view”. The certificate will open in your browser. Copy the link to the certificate by clicking "copy link" or from the browser address bar.
  3. (If you are a student at Tampere University, move directly to step 4) Apply to the course via Fitech by clicking “start here”: https://fitech.io/en/studies/introduction-to-api-economy/
    • Fill the forms and add Introduction to API economy to your studies
    • Accept the study place and wait for instructions.
  4. Login to Sisu according to the instructions you got and send the certificate link to the teacher responsible for the course.
  5. The course credits will be registered in the student records of Tampere University within 1-2 weeks.
    If you need to share your course credit with another university or school, you can request “Transcript of records” from Tampere University [email protected].

Students without a Finnish social security number:

  1. Enroll to the course here. You get instant access to the course materials and can start completing the course.
  2. Once you have completed each section, you can get the certificate for the course. Simply go to https://www.osaango.academy/account/certificates -> choose certificate and click “view”. The certificate will open in your browser. Copy the link to the certificate by clicking "copy link" or from the browser address bar.
  3. Send the certificate link and the course brochure to your own university's or school's study counselor and request the credit to be accepted to your studies. Please note that each school has their own rules regarding which courses can be included in your studies. Consult your own faculty if you are unsure.
