This course is for everyone who wants to know what APIs and API Economy are.
You don't need to know how to code. If you do, you might still learn some things about how non-tech people think about APIs.
For optimal learning experience, you will get access to one bite-sized lesson every day. You are probably very busy and a lot of us are very deadline-oriented. You'll need only 5-30 minutes each day to learn the lesson for the day. Try to do it daily, because that will let your brain adjust to the new information over night. This will give you time to really reflect what you've learned and use it at your work.
If you complete all lessons in all sections, you have earned Foundation level API Economy Certification.
In this first course, we'll deal with 3 areas:
1) First glimpse on why API Economy matters and who should be involved
3) What? Can APIs "see" and "hear", too?
If you are very experienced with APIs already, possibly even have consulted others at your work or your customers you might think this course is too easy for you. You may be right, but I still recommend you to take this course. It might help you to understand how people with less technical understanding are able to use and learn about APIs. And maybe you'll get some ideas about the "Economy" part of APIs, too.
